On/Off

Press the power button (located at the back of the keyboard on the edge), if your shift key flashes green, your keyboard is on, if it flashes orange it is off.

How to pair the CTRL keyboard in Bluetooth ?

Press one of the pairing keys on the keyboard (located above the numeric keypad) until it flashes blue then on your device go to your settings> peripherals> add a Bluetooth device then select ” BLEUJOUR Keyboard-ISO ”.

How to reset your keyboard ?

Following any malfunction encountered which, for example, would reverse the function of your keys, you may need to reset your keyboard, to do this you must :Hold the power button on the back of the keyboard (for a few seconds) until the SHIFT key flashes. You must then pair your keyboard.

Enabling / Disabling the Numeric Keypad

Simultaneously press the “fn” key at the top of your keyboard (to the right of the F12 key) and the “num” key on your numeric keypad (above the 7 key on the numeric keypad).To deactivate the numeric keypad and switch to cursor mode, same operation.

How to check that the CTRL keyboard is charging ?

When plugged in with the power cable, the shift key indicator lights up. This turns off when the battery is fully charged. Be careful, if your keyboard is completely discharged, you will have to wait a few minutes before the light comes on.

How long does it take to fully charge the CTRL keyboard ?

For a full charge, it takes 5 to 6 hours. It is best to charge it overnight. Note that you can use it while it is charging. 

Do you have to repeat the pairing procedure each time the computer is turned on ?

No, the keypad remembers the last active connection.

Can the CTRL keyboard control multiple devices ?

You can connect multiple devices to the keyboard. You just need to press the pairing keys above the numeric keypad to switch from one device to another. You can make up to 4 connections.

What colors are available for CTRL ?

There are 5 CTRL keyboard colors that match those used on our Kubb computers : color 12 (blue), Graphite (black), Mai 68 (light gray), Source (white) and Fuchsia (pink). There is a 6th choice which is raw aluminum. 

How do I adjust the backlight on my keyboard ? 

You can adjust the backlighting by holding down the “brightness – / +” key on your keyboard and pressing one of the 0 to 9 keys on the numeric keypad :

Key 1 -> 10%

Key 2 -> 20%

Key 9 -> 90%

0 -> 100% key

“Esc” key -> 0%

You can also use, while holding it down, the “brightness – / +” key with the + key or the – key of the same numeric keypad to respectively increase or decrease the brightness in steps of 10%.

Reversed keys in USB / wired mode

If your keys no longer perform in the order you want, follow these steps :PC keyboard : Press the ctrl key (the left or right one) + the USB key (top left of the numeric keypad) to put it back in PC mode.MAC keyboard : Press the Cmd key + the USB key (top left of the numeric keypad) to put it back in MAC mode.

How does sound work when playing media content ? 

There is no jack output, so you must use an “HDMI” or “DisplayPort” output video cable to have sound through your screen or to connect Bluetooth speakers. You can also buy an audio adapter that plugs into USB, available everywhere and at a lower cost.

Is it possible to increase the storage capacity ?

It is possible to connect an internal 2.5 ″ SATA drive in addition to the standard SSD supplied. The Kubb comes standard with a disc holder as well as a cable so you can add one.

Have you lost your Kubb power supply ?

Contact customer service to purchase a new one.

Is the color of the Kubbs the same as that of the CTRL keyboards ?

Yes there are 5 CTRL keyboard colors that correspond to Kubb : 12, Graphite, Mai68, Source, Fuchsia.
